Our Story
In 1987, founder Rick Vaal identified a gap in the car care market — detailing professionals deserved better products than what was available. After a year of intensive chemical research and development, Rick formulated a line of superior products that outperformed everything else on the market.
In 1989, The Lab Zone launched to serve professional detailers and enthusiasts. Since then, we have created thousands of formulations across various markets with an eco-friendly focus, growing from a small operation into a full-service manufacturing company.
Today, The Lab Zone is a full-service private label manufacturer that guides you from product conception to production, storage, and distribution. Our Bradenton, Florida facility houses five semi-automatic manufacturing lines and one fully automated line producing up to 50 bottles per minute — with capacity for over 10,000 bottles daily.
